WMAFism is an ideology that advocates for interracial relationships between white men and asian women. This can range from simply a preference for these types of relationships, to full blown racial self-hated and submission on the Asian female side, or a desire for an obedient "pure tradwife" on the white male side. It can even, more rarely, refer to relationships where the Asian woman is dominant and the white man is submissive.

Beliefs

WMAFism believes that white men are perfect savior figures of the civilized, advanced, liberated west, to save poor, helpless, submissive Asian women from their authoritarian and oppressive societies that they live under so that they can continue their submission under big strong white men. It believes that white men and Asian women are a perfect relationship match made in heaven. Its more politically extreme variants believe in complete white male submission under a sexocratic female Communist or Asian Supremecist regime or complete Asian female submession under a White Supremacist government or corporate supplied Asian girls.

History

In the 1800s, after the opening of Japan by Matthew Perry, word began to spread in the United States about the seductive femininity of Asian women. Nationalistic fears that Asian women would seduce White men and destroy White families led to the passage Page Act of 1875, which prevented Chinese women from entering the United States. However, another purpose of the ban was to limit the reproduction of the Chinese working class in America.

As early as the 1920s, it was noticed that White Dutch men preferred South East Asian women over White women. When Indonesia was a colony of the Dutch, a new beauty ideal was established, which ranked local women with light brown skin and lustrous black hair at the top. The American consul general to Indonesia remarked that, to the average man, a mixed-race Indonesian woman was considered more attractive than a "pure" White woman, because White women's complexions were too pale. The legacy of this colonial fetishization continues to be reflected in local literature, where women with European features (such as blond hair) are pitied, and it is written that "a golden-colored skin is the greatest gift that Allah can bestow upon a woman".

After World War II, the U.S. military took control of Japan, and U.S. soldiers began to interact with Japanese women. Although the American military initially forbid relations with Japanese women; the U.S. servicemen were "enamored" by the femininity of Japanese women, and formed relationships with them anyway. There was a perception that Japanese women were superior to American women, and there was a widespread sentiment "that a Japanese woman's heart was twice as big as those of her American sisters".

In 1959, Akiko Kojima, a Japanese woman, became the first non-White woman to win the Miss Universe beauty pageant. That same year, Miyoshi Umeki, also a Japanese woman, won an Academy Award. This period marked the beginning of the phenomenon known as the 'Oriental wave' – during which Asian women first gained prominence in Western media. The wave mainstreamed a certain type of Asian femininity: slender, shy, and intelligent; yet also sexual. It also marked the beginning of the end of White women's dominance as the mainstream beauty ideal in America.

Personality and Behavior

WMAFism can be portrayed as either a white male ball or asian female ball or both, depending on context. They like to talk about how asian girls are perfect for white guys, describing them as demure, traditional, and submissive, and how white guys are perfect for asian girls, describing them as savior "liberator" figures in shining armor. Many other ideology balls find this relationship obsession weird, but they think others are just jealous. Don't ask them what they think about people of darker skin tones. Trust me, don't.
