Ulster Nationalism is a ideology that supports Northern Ireland becoming a independent state (sometimes augmented with the remaining counties of Ulster under the Republic of Ireland) under Ulster Protestant/Ulster Scot rule, it strongly opposes Irish Republicanism.
Overview
Ulster Cultural Nationalism
While Northern Irish Protestant Political Parties are typically unionist, they typically also advocate that a separate "Ulster" identity exists for the Northern Irish Protestants, this advocacy includes linguistic rights for the Ulster Scots dialect and maintenance of distinctive Protestant institutions.
