    The Alliance of Free Markets

    Join us on Discord here!

The Alliance of Free Markets is a group of self-inserts, consisting mainly of Liberals, Austrian Scholars, Chicago Scholars, Hayekists, Classical Economists, Total Deregulationists (LARP) and other forms of free marketeering. Keynesians are tolerated as well. However, all of them oppose the overt government intervention and oversight found within The Left Wing of Capital, Unholy Amalgamations, Gullible Children and Harbingers of Misery. The beliefs of members of the AFM can vary widely, so long as the principles of the free market are respected.

"Having too much regulation is worse than not having enough regulation."

"The war on drugs has only proven that if people want something that badly, they will resort to illegal means to get it."

"The best way to pacify a leftist into supporting you is to market and virtue-signal towards them, so they think you are on their side when you really only care about profit."

"The third industrial revolution is coming, and it will be spearheaded by A.I. We're currently living through the second, wrought by the internet. It's all about increasing the flow of information, if you look at it closer. The first gave us electricity and the means to communicate over long distances, the second gave us the ability to catalogue our collective knowledge for the entire world to see, while as for the third? Well, your guess is as good as mine. However, for all of human history, information has been created only by human hands. I wonder; what will happen when information begins to produce itself?"

"The most prominent reason why economies get so skewed in favor of the rich and large corporations is because of regulations allegedly meant to keep them in check killing their competition. It's awfully convenient, isn't it?"

    SomeCrusader

"Socialists will say that the proletariat has fallen and get get up. The truth is is that the government crippled them with regulations and welfarism is the wheelchair. Realizing this is the trip to the doctor's office. Total deregulation of the economy is the cast that heals."

    Schumacherianism

"The Invisible Hand not only guides us towards prosperity (in the societal and personal well-beings of humanity), but does so in a way that promotes our personal freedom and self-ownership. we are not simply serfs to the feudal Lenin/Maoist lords, nor are we the slaves to the welfare state that promotes existential reliance, but we are our own organisms, our own creatures with our own interests in mind, and we can use that for the betterment of the world."

    • Aurora Doctrine: We're glad that we could come to an agreement. We shall stand together against the Revisionist Scum and Slaughterers of Men. Although please take it a little easier on the posties, I'm pretty sure they mean no harm by themselves...

    Neutral

    • Xenospheric Thought: General outlook is: "ew, posties." However, some of you are actually kind of agreeable, and we share a member . So, it's neutral de-facto.
      • Some of you have quite based views on technology, however.

    Enemies of Prosperity

    • The Artel Gang: Most of you are foolish children who would implode the economy with your systems (although some of them are pretty smart). You will soon realize that you cannot simply tax whatever you like into submission. Read Hayek, Landsburg, Mises, Hazlitt, Friedman or even Keynes, all of you. Besides, none of you are actual socialists, since none of you advocate for complete social ownership of the means of production, only some of them/only partially.
    • The National Communists Alliance: The effects of tankieism on full display in one page. Nothing within is original, the formatting and grammar is shoddy (an allusion to commie infrastructure), and you don't even have your own icon yet. Fitting, since it was created by a butthurt Serbian child. AAAANNNDDD IT'S GONE! Commies can't handle the heat smh 💅

    • Economic Globalism - Hello guys. Can I join? I'm one of you guys, I swear!
    • Aurora Doctrine - We've decided to be your friends now, and we will fight alongside against the Artelings and the Schizosphere.
    • Mr_Beast_0f_93 - Can I join?]
    • Schumacherianism - can i join? i like free markets! :D
    • The Artel Gang - To be fair, you have to have a very high IQ to understand Hayek and Mises. The economics are extremely subtle, and without a solid grasp of free market capitalism most of the ideas will go over a typical reader's head. There's also Mises's optimistic outlook, which is deftly woven into his characterisation - his personal philosophy draws heavily from the rest of the Austrian school's literature, for instance. The fans understand this stuff; they have the intellectual capacity to truly appreciate the depths of these ideas, to realize that they're not just smart- they say something deep about LIFE. As a consequence people who dislike Hayek and Mises truly ARE idiots- of course they wouldn't appreciate, for instance, the humour in Mises's existencial catchphrase "What the fuck is inflation," which itself is a cryptic reference to TF2's 'what the hell is a kilometre'. I'm smirking right now just imagining one of those addlepated simpletons scratching their heads in confusion as John Keynes's genius unfolds itself on their desks. What fools... how I pity them. 😂 And yes by the way, I DO have a Friedman tattoo. And no, you cannot see it. It's for the ladies' eyes only- And even they have to demonstrate that they're within 5 IQ points of my own (preferably lower) beforehand.
      • The AFM - Fucking hell, well meme'd.
    • Curly Wurly As an Artel member, I would like to say one thing: Socialists are red, capitalists eat hardy. I'll think of different rhymes, while you join a different political party.
    • Neo-Levithianism-I see capitalism as the end goal and the greatest discovery that mankind has achieved. You see capitalism as the greatest economic system for the civilization.WE ARE THE SAME.Add me
    •  New Social Egoist Theory - Can I join yiu or have yiu already been dismissed? (I became capitalist)
    • Danielism-Can I join. I might be kind of fascist, but I do like free markets.
