SVTism is the ideology of the state-owned Swedish television company SVT or Sveriges Television. It is supposedly an unbiased and objective news-source funded by taxes. Although this supposed objectiveness is dabatable as its reporters have shown a clear political bias over the years. The reporters have shown to heavily favor open and overall progressive political figures and criticize those who they deem to be un-democratic and/or xenophobic.
History
It was founded in the 1920s as a radio-station and later sent its first television broadcast in 1954. It's meant to be an unbiased news-source where reporters can report freely without getting their opinions skewed by bribes from different parties.
