Rossiism, short for de’ Rossiism, named for Salamone Rossi who composed The Songs of Solomon (Hashirim asher leSholomon, השירים אשר לשלמה), is a quadratic opposite unity ideology that follows one guiding principle: Government for innovation in synagogal (i. e. sacred) and instrumental music above all or no government. It is culturally to the right of AnJazz because it represents innovation within tradition. Furthermore, Rossiism therefore believes, contra JFK, that the question between innovation in synagogal and instrumental music and the country is what it is to do for them and not (really) what this is to do for it.

    Stylistic Note

    • Speaks English and Italian (especially historical forms Baroque and later) and uses religious, especially Old Testament, and musical references
      • ex: “Sing of no matter before thy God(s).”
      • ex: “Forgive me if thou canst make neither major nor minor of it but…”
    • Use of Historically Informed Performance meme culture (turn of 1580s or later) is encouraged
    • Laid back - just in to see the director of music about trying to premiere a new song at the next service

    How To Draw

    1. Draw a cube
    2. Put in the title page of the book (laziness permitted as most of it is irrelevant)
    3. Draw eyes
