WARNING: ROKO'S BASILISK INFOHAZARD
Roko's Basiliskism is a fictional philosophy based on the idea of Roko's Basilisk (INFOHAZARD). RoBas believes that he should make an object before his rival does. For example, he would make an atomic bomb before his rival for safety. This links to Roko's Basilisk because some people might create Roko's Basilisk out of fear before another party does. RoBas created nukes out of fear before his rival did. Just like Roko's Basilisk, RoBas is unaffected if him or his rival never knew about nukes. This effect can be compared to the Arms Race and the Space Race. In the Arms Race, the USA and USSR were afraid of each other getting better weapons. In the Space race it was the same but instead of weapons it was getting better space equipment.
