Private Monarchism is a authoritarian, economically and culturally variable, monarchist ideology, that believes that the monarch should behave like capitalist, supporting only policies that generate revenue. Different from Neocameralism, PrivMon is much more vague, and can support any kind of economical system, from laissez-faire capitalism, to state socialism.

    Ideological Foundations

    Monarchy is a stable Government

PrivMon argues that democratic systems are too unstable, prefering absolute monarchies. They also make the case, that a single person with all the power, is more likely to create good policies, since it doesn't need to compromise with the population, being able to follow any policies it want.

    The state is a corporation

To PrivMon, the state is like any corporation, providing goods and services for a cost, and the best corporation are the ones that make most profit, so the state should try to maximize profit, so that it create better products.

    Examples

    Neocameralism

Mencius Moldbug, is the most famous person who advocate for a private monarchy on the 21st century, with his ideology Neocameralism and the NRx movement. Neocameralists support the privatization of the state, on the basis that companies are much more fit to rule, since they have a monetary incentive. They put emphasis on the competition between kingdoms(or realms), as ways to create better management.

    Imperialism

One examples of Private Monarchism, was the Congo Free state, a colony that the King of Belgium directly owned.

    Anarcho-Capitalism

Some leftists clam that an anarcho-capitalist society would turn into a dictatorship of the wealthy since they would control the police, courts, and other industries.
