"The rules of war are woven in the womb: the victors shall burn bright, while the losers must turn to ash."
Natlan Tribalism is the ideology of Natlan, it is a Non-Quad and tribal ideology. It is a very battle oriented ideology valuing strength above all else where strength is determined through victory. It is also very tribalistic with Natlan being mostly ruled by different tribes instead of one central government with different tribes ruling part of Natlan and having different roles in the economy.
Beliefs
Three Values of Natlan
Natlan has three fundamental values all related to battle due to the nation being the nation of war. The three values are contention, kindling, and conflict
Contention
To Natlan Tribalism strength and weakness is only defined by victory and defeat, not through words. There are strengths and weakness within everyone, even if a human can't fly unlike a bird, a human has its own strength. Once a victor is chosen in a fight the victor gains confidence knowing his direction was right while the loser gains new insight and being able to use what he learned in future battles.
Kindling
In order to gain something you must pay something like offering. You must find a balance between offering as sometimes you offer too much on something or sometimes you offer too little and lose it instead. Sometimes you won't get the reward immediately but eventually you will reap what you sow.
Conflict
Natlan tribalism believes that conflict should be best resolved open and blunt. Conflict should be faced and never avoided usually by a fight. Conflict can be managed and is a great limitation and helps people become responsible. Conflict must be resolved efficiently and decisively usually by a fight. Fighting is a great way to resolve conflict as conflict helps confront people's desires and helps people stay true to their own objectives.
Tribal Rule
Unlike other nations, Natlan doesn't have a central government, instead different tribes rule different parts of Natlan based on their ancestral lands. Most tribes are ruled by a chief with elders having some power over the tribe as well. While the Pyro Archon has authority over all the tribes, the tribes retain most of its autonomy and handles the day-to-day affairs of each tribe's people and land.
Economy
Natlan runs a tradition based economy where each tribe specializes on a different sector of the economy based on their traditional specialization. For example the Nanatzcayan have tradtionally been miners and most of the tribe does mining.
Combat
Combat is an essential part of Natlan life, Natlan tribalism believes that any conflict between two parties should be settled through a fight until both parties can reach an agreement. Due to being the nation of war, Natlan holds a huge fighting tournament known as the pilgrimage of the sacred flame where everyone from Natlan can participate and show off their strength and their improvement.
Pilgrimage of the Sacred Flame
Every year Natlan holds a pilgrimage known as the pilgrimage of the sacred flames where everyone in Natlan has a chance to compete in a combat tournament. The tournament is split into two phases, the first phase people fight in teams. Natlan tribalism believes teamwork is essential in combat. Those who qualify can then move onto the second phase where competitors fight individually. One of the main purpose of the pilgrimage is to fight the abyss. Those who win and are name bearers get to go on and fight against the Abyss to prevent the Abyss from encroaching Natlan although non name bearers are also honored. The fighting also powers the sacred flame which helps keep the Abyss at bay as well.
Pyro Archon
Unlike many other archons, the Pyro Archon is a human decided by the pilgrimage rather than being a god that founded the nation. Thus there have been many Pyro Archons that ruled over Natlan in the past with the current one being Mavuika. Anyone who claims the title of the Pyro Archon must fight against all claimers of the title in the pilgrimage and emerge victorious. The Pyro Archon is the highest ruler of all of Natlan although she leaves a lot of autonomy for most of the individual tribes of Natlan.
Wayob Theocracy
The Wayob is worshipped in Natlan although the Wayob. Each tribe has their own wayob where the chief communicates with the wayob to see visions into the future. The Wayob also chooses Ancient Name Bearers which are titles that help preserve stories of past heroes and bearers when doing heroic deeds can add stories to their ancient names. Natlan Tribalism believes heroes are a fundamental part of Natlan culture and even calls Natlan the nation of heroes.
Personality
Basically has the personality of a tribal warrior, really loves to fight a lot. He won't hesitate to fight you over any disagreement and loves heroes a lot. Natlan Tribalism though has a lot of honor in his heart and will help those in need and sees conflict as more of a way of life rather than a life or death situation and as such doesn't take conflict too seriously once resolved. As such Natlan Tribalism doesn't really hold grudges. Natlan Tribalism one true enemy is Abyss Theocracy who he fight constantly. He also has the ability to respawn for some reason.

- Anti-Humanism - And vice-versa.
- Deep Ecology - Yes I care about saurians and their life but you go way too far and I'm not going vegan anytime soon.

- Primitivism - While we do live in tribes, I don't think we should limit ourselves technologically.
- Isolationism - While we don't go out of Natlan that much, it's only because we lose the power of our wayobs when we venture our of Natlan and I also might get memory and emotional stability leaving. While yes the wayob does sometimes give permission to leave, the wayob rarely lets us do that because the wayobs have to extend its power which could've been used to fight the Abyss. We welcome all foreigners coming to Natlan and even let them try our hot springs and the wayob will protect them for as long as they stay in Natlan.
