    Narodnichestvo is a Libertarian Left, Culturally Left ideology, that is based on ideas and actions of russian societies "Land and Freedom" and "People's Will".

    Narodnichestvo is usually terroristic, and the actions of "People's Will" are very disputed. In Narodnichestvo, there exist right-wing fractions, that stands on more peaceful and reformist positions.

    History

    Westernizers

    Westernizers were a famous group of russian intellectual through 19th-century. They believed that Russia is nothing more but a part of european civilization, and reforms should help to improve the nation and democratize that. Major opponents of westernizers were Slavophilists. The last believed in preservation of traditions and Tsarism.

    Land and Liberty

    Land and Liberty was revolutionary organization of narodniks in the period of 1876—1879. This group was far-left, populist and collectivist. It supported so-called "Going to the People": populist movement as opposed to terrorist methods. Organization was finally dissolved in 1879.

    Black Partition

    Black Repartition, or Black Partition was another revolutionary and socialist organization of 19th-century Russian Empire. It was supporting more moderate methods in comparison to Land and Liberty and People's Will. Most of its members became famous social democrats and mensheviks.

    "People's Will

    First period

    During first period People's Will had a lot of members, the most famous are Andrey Zhelyabov and Sofya Perovskaya, that were hanged in April 1881. In March 1881 russian tsar Alexander II was killed by People's Will, unmediatively killer was Ignatiy Grinevickiy. He died with Tsar in one day. Another killers were found some later. Fun fact, that Zhelyabov almost was arested, and could be saved, but he put the capital punishment. Five "first-marchists" were hanged.

    Terroristic fraction 1887

    In 1887, when is ruled Alexander III, brother of Vladimir Lenin Alexander Ulyanov regenerated People's Will for killing of tsar again. But this attempt was unfortunate. And Ulyanov and another four people also were hanged.

    Beliefs

    Narodniks believe in abolition of serfdom and establishment of socialism. It support emancipation of peasants because he considers them as a main enemies of bourgeoisie and aristocracy. It deny capitalist phase of society, striving to achieve socialism immediately after the fall of feudalism. It's some bipolar, he can be terrorist and reformist at the same time.
