Mayan Theocracy is a form of theocracy concerning the Ancient Mayans. The Mayans were never truly one unified state, but rather each major city a city state with unique struggles for political power. However each city state was ruled by a leader seen as god-like.
Ancient Mayans believed that the gods created humanity from corn and that they were it was their duty to make meals for the gods as well as perform human sacrifices for them.
