Libertine is an off-compass libertarian ideology that claims that every citizen should be socially and civically free to do whaterver their natural state tells them to. The concept is based on unrestricted human instincts and wills. Evolution would be a fundamental argument on Libertine, as restriction of instincts and social norms would contradict evolution. Libertine is usually seen as a less political form of Egoist Hedonism.

The word "libertine" was originally coined by the partor John Calvin to negatively describe opponents of his policies in Geneva, Switzerland. The group, led by Ami Perrin, argued against Calvin's "insistence that church discipline should be enforced uniformly against all members of Genevan society".
Perrin and his allies were elected to the town council in 1548, and "broadened their support base in Geneva by stirring up resentment among the older inhabitants against the increasing number of religious refugees who were fleeing France in even greater numbers". By 1555, Calvinists were firmly in place on the Genevan town council, so the Libertines, led by Perrin, responded with an "attempted coup against the government and called for the massacre of the French".
In England, some Lollards held libertine views such as that adultery and fornication were not sin, or that "whoever died in faith would be saved irrespective of his way of life".
During the 18th and 19th centuries, the term became more associated with debauchery. Charles-Maurice de Talleyrand wrote that Joseph Bonaparte "sought only life's pleasures and easy access to libertinism" while on the throne of Naples.

Libertine advocates for the complete anihilation of social norms or any other type of regulations in order for the individual to be able to correspond to its own wills. Libertine belives the natural state of humanity is the real human essences, so all humans should act based on their instincts, even if they overlap other individual's goals.
Many protestant christian variations have also appeared as libertines, claiming that what is to be judged pure or impure according to the protestant principles are not an individual's actions, but its faith and inner values. In that cense, protestant libetines advocate for the search of self-confort and pleasure without bounderies, except a person's values.

    Personality and Behavior

Libertine says and does what he wants with no hesitance. Libertine doesn't care about other people's opinions or feeling. He only seeks for doing what is most pleasurable and hates everyone who stands on his way. He likes taking a blunt, drinking, having sex and hardly hears other opinions, as changing one's mind is unconfortable.
