English Communism, also known by its clipping Ingcom, is a version of Ingsoc mixed with Marxism-Leninism.

Overview

Ingcom is a form of Marxism-Leninism that believes the only way to create a true communist society is to have a strong government holding the society together, rooting out purpetrators and other potential "anti-communists" via mass surveilance. Supporting Capitalism (or generally any system that is largely against communism) is considered thoughtcrime, and an attack on the proles, which make up the bulk of the workforce.

The most accepted and quasi-official interpretation would be that the party would be socialist/communist, in which it would be evident by anti-capitalist propaganda, non-existence of private property, anti-individualism collectivism, slogans to control and co-found the proletariat and the prohibition of private initiative ( even if there is illegally in the offspring), in which the government is responsible for the distribution of food, having no purchases.

Oceania was inspired by the Soviet Union and its totalitarianism, plus many adaptations of the "BIG BROTHER IS WATCHING YOU" propaganda portray it with a Stalin-like figure. Many accuse the North Korean government of resembling the Orwellian dystopia.
