    Description

    Heinleinism is a political philosophy based on the book Starship Troopers by Robert A Heinlein. In this ideology the purpose of the government is to protect individual liberty and order. To earn the Honor of taking part in politics citizens must serve their country in order to prove their ability to put the needs of the country before their own desires.

    Economic policy

    Heinleinism operates as a free market with few regultions and does not enforce any specific economic ideology. Although capitalism is encouraged citizens are free to interact economically as they see fit. Things such as comunes and workers collectives while not particularly common do exist under Heinleinism.

    Immigration policy

    All Immigrants are welcome in our country as long as they share our values of liberty and patriotism.

    Individual liberty

    Citizens may do whatever they please so long as it doesn't infringe on the liberty of others.

    Law

    Misdemeanors are punished with varying degrees of comunity service and labor.

    Felonies, which include but are not limited to murder rape and political corruption are punished with the death penalty.

    Government

    The government is the same system as the United States except that citizens must serve their country to earn the honor of voting and running for office. The types of service and time requirements are as follows

    Active duty military 2 years

    Fire fighter 2 years

    Law enforcement 3 years


    Charity worker 4 years

    Community organizer 4 years

    National guard 8 years

    All other cases will be handled on a case by case basis.

    This honor may be stripped from a citizen if they commit a crime
