Harrisism is the ideology of Kamala Harris, the 49th vice president of the United States. It is a mildly authoritarian, statist, economically moderate, and progressive ideology fusing the principles of Bidenist Democracy and State Liberalism.

    Personality

Harrisism personality can be described as the personality of Kamala Harris, or Harrisism supporters.

    History

Harrisism describes the personal political beliefs and policies of Kamala Harris. Kamala Harris first gained notability as the Attorney General for the state of California, where she developed a reputation for law and order, and the aggressive prosecution of drug crimes and unlawful protests.

As a Senator from the state of California, Harris positioned herself as a progressive on many cultural issues, though continued to tow the moderate party line on many other political debates.

As a presidential candidate and later Vice President of the United States, Harris was elected to serve as the Vice President under Joe Biden beginning in January 2020.

    Beliefs

Harrisism believes in a strong state which promotes liberal values and harshly punishes crime, and which balances social welfare and corporate finance controls with otherwise strong business rights. It also emphasizes strong support of the Democratic party and their current president, Joseph R. Biden. Harrisism can largely be seen as a more moderate form of State Liberalism adapted to the current politics of the US.
