Not to be confused withConfucianism
Confusionism (often shortened to Conf) is an Off Compass and Centrist meta-ideology where one does not know what ideology fits them best, even though they already know where they want to stand on the compass and what beliefs they hold.
History
Confusionism was made by GammaRaul in May of 2021 and is based on his struggles with finding a Centrist and Progressive ideology that he felt aligned with his views.
Despite Confusionism's nice and naive personality in-universe, what is said here may not align with the creator's behaviors in real life.
Views and Beliefs
While having no clear set of beliefs because of its meta-ideology status, Confusionism has a single self-imposed requirement for picking an Ideology, that the Ideology must not be extremist, regardless of what side it leans. This especially means no insane, mind-breaking, off-compass ideologies, though those have tried nonetheless.
Personality and Behaviors
Confusionism is a naive, kind, and extroverted Polcompball that always attempts to socialize with others that he believes align with him so he can find out what ideology fits him best, though that often results in some kind of failure.
Because of his naivety, others often try to radicalize him to their side, even if he wants an ideology that goes against their beliefs.
How to Draw
- Draw a ball with a black outline.
- Fill the ball with a lighter shade of black.
- Draw a white cross through the ball, leaving a small space where the crossroads would be.
- Draw the outline of a white circle within that space.
- Draw a white question mark within the circle.
- Add the eyes.
And you're done!
