Beliefs
Economic Liberalization
Chicagoan LibMarketSoc believes in limiting government intervention in the economy. This includes deregulation, cutting subsidies, and even removing intellectual property laws like copyright and patent protections.
Libertarianism
Chicagoan LibMarketSoc believes in limiting government powers and removing government control in people's lives. It is strongly opposed to big government and authoritarianism.
Market Socialism
As the name implies, Chicagoan LibertarianMarketSoc believes in market socialism, where businesses are owned by the workers through worker co-ops. This could be for a variety of reasons, but Chicagoan LibertarianMarketSocs share the belief that privately owned companies are an inferior way of running a company compared to co-ops.
Monetary Policy
Chicagoan Libertarian Market Socialism's monetary policy is mainly influenced by Monetarism, where money production is consistent with GDP growth in order to ensure steady inflation. Some Chicagoan MarketSocs believe in NeoClassical monetary policies, although it is less common.
