Bayanihanismo is a syncretic, culturally right, economically center-left, religious, democratic, nationalist, and exclusively Filipino self-insert ideology.

    Beliefs

    Government

At its core, Bayanihanismo is essentially illiberal Christian democracy, aiming to achieve and uphold a deeply traditionalist and Catholic Filipino societal order through democratic and non-oppressive means. It rejects both majoritarian liberal democracy and despotic authoritarianism, viewing both as inherently un-Christian systems of governance and ultimately unsustainable. Instead, Bayanihanismo espouses that true and effective democracy, both governmentally and economically, is found in a decentralized system of subsidiarity supplemented by rulership through merit and expertise . The ideology does support the political separation of church and state, although it believes that the Catholic Church should still be an active part of society, mainly by making sure the government does indeed uphold its duty of preserving the Catholic faith and implementing its values. On top of everything, it supports the establishment of a monarchy as a watchman and beacon of stability.

    Philosophy and Culture

Bayanihanismo believes that "modernity", namely the Enlightenment and the influence of the French Revolution, is and has been the cause of humanity's progressive downfall, compromising almost everything within and about the modern world. Thus, any lines of political and philosophical thinking that draw influence from modernity must be rejected. Instead, the ideology espouses that science, reason, and logic are perfectly compatible with religion, specifically Christianity, and should be reclaimed from the modernist monopoly over knowledge. Conversely, Bayanihanismo is not reactionary, holding that reactionaryism is blind to rationalism's importance in the coherence of Christendom.

In line with its philosophy, Bayanihanismo is culturally and socially traditionalist. It advocates for the passive national, societal, and legal upholding, restoration, or implementation of conservative Catholic social values , such as the enshrinement of the family unit, gender equality through complementary social roles , protection of the unborn, and preservation of the sanctity of traditional sexuality, among other things. The ideology opposes the cultural stances of both the modern left and right , viewing both as affronts to Christianity through their degeneracy and perversion, respectively. Bayanihanismo justifies its conservatism through rational and logical explanations such as by natural law , instead of relying on myths, narratives, or irrationalism like with reactionaryism. It is philosophically hostile but culturally ambivalent towards other religions, namely other Christian denominations and Abrahamic faiths , denouncing them as false faiths but nevertheless societally tolerating them in the Philippines to an extent and promoting interfaith dialogue.

    Economy

Bayanihanismo supports a Filipino economy that follows distributist and Keynesian principles, namely a system wherein a sizeable portion of the economic means of production is privately owned but as widespread as possible instead of concentrated in the hands of large and bureaucratic interest groups. This would be supplemented by a diverse network of cooperatives, guilds, and trade unions, all operating in tandem with each other and government under a regulated market system. The ideology holds that the economy should be open and fair to everyone in society, encouraging entrepreneurship while having the state engage in extensive trust-busting to keep market competition going. It advocates for a primarily agrarian economy to harness the economic potential of the Philippines to the fullest, alongside efforts at environmental conservation, alternative methods of energy production, and the rapid acceleration of technological progress. In terms of foreign trade, Bayanihanismo is vehemently supportive of domestic business interests above foreign ones, opposing economic globalism while not being wholly protectionist, instead advocating for fair deals with countries with respect to each trade participant's domestic economy.

    Foreign Policy

Bayanihanismo is a nationalist ideology, nationalism in this context referring to its classical conception, that being national self-determination, instead of the modern definition which entails national superiority. It deeply stands for the interests of the Filipino nation on the world stage, but not to the detriment of other nations, as it also encourages global cooperation without negative total globalism that recognizes and respects the differences between nations. The ideology denounces both the power blocs of the West and East that comprise the current world order as simply faces of modern imperialism that seek to trample on the national right to cultural, economic, and diplomatic self-determination. Bayanihanismo is supportive of regional unions such as ASEAN and the revival of defensive blocs such as SEATO to serve as a bulwark against foreign neocolonial influence.

    • Jesusism - Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to people of good will. We praise you, we bless you, we adore you, we glorify you, We give you thanks for your great glory. Lord God, heavenly King. O God, almighty Father. Lord Jesus Christ, Only Begotten Son, Lord God, Lamb of God, Son of the Father, you take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us; you take away the sins of the world, receive our prayer; you are seated at the right hand of the Father, have mercy on us. For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord, you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit, in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
    • Catholic Theocracy - I believe in the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church.
    • Integralism - Ave Christus Rex! I do support the separation of church and state, BUT both must be Christian in organization and values. More often than not, direct meddling of the Church in governmental affairs has led to its subversion by the state. That being said, I am not a secularist by any means and very much revile societal secularism.
    • Pope Francis Thought - I am loyal to the Vicar of Christ and appreciate the efforts of His Holiness in the face of heretics and schismatics within the Church.
    • National Distributism - For all intents and purposes, he is me but more generalized.
    • Monarcho-Distributism - Also literally me.
    • Longism - Share the wealth!
    • Reactionary Modernism - Hell yeah! The false dichotomy between scientific progress and religion is a doing of the Enlightenment and its modern offspring.
    • Bread - Yum.
